About
Chaitanya Paranjape
Greetings! I am Chaitanya, a B.Tech Engineering Physics gradaute (2018-2022) from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, India. I am an aspiring theoretical physicist fascinated by the Standard Model of Particle Physics and many of the open problems associated with it. I am looking forward to expand upon my computational skills to tackle the challenging problems encountered in diverse areas of theoretical physics. I plan to contribute, develop and innovate mathematical and programming techniques to describe interactions of elementary particles, thriving to provide a complete view of fundamental physics.

I'm looking forward to pursue research in computational aspects in all the diverse areas of theoretical physics including particle physics, nuclear physics, and quantum information sciences. Feel free to read about my experience and interests. I would be happy to get in touch. Apart from research, I like to spend my pastime with video editing and cinematography for all kinds of films. And I am always excited for Night sky observation sessions, Robotics, and casual sports.

Outreach Talks
Let's Talk Research
IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, India : May 2022
  • I, along with a few other batchmates, organized a session to encourage the first-year undergraduates to pursue research on any topic of their interest. We talked about multiple fields of study and discussed how one could start exploring their interest.
  • I presented on the topic of 'Fundamental physics' and tried to convey the intriguing aspects of this study.
Research Talks Series
IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, India : May 2022
  • Collaborating with student-run newsletter of IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, We interviewed some final-year undergraduate students of the batch 2022, who shared their exact experiences of working on research projects, publishing in journals and presenting at a Conference.
